Job Description
Large Investment Research firm in Chicago is creating a sales team to sell equity investment information services to analysts at large buy side firms.

This Investment Research firm, is organized into three divisions.
1. Professional Services, which provides data files and market data systems to professional equity investors.
2. An equity research and investment information division for individual investors
3. A management division with $1.8 Billion for individual and institutional investors.

Our client is expanding its sales team providing services to CFOs and Investor Relations Managers at small and micro cap public corporations. The company services include a desktop information systems designed to facilitate targeting institutional and retail investors and equity research coverage from the client's Small Cap Research team.

They need a Sales Leader to Manage the sales team of 3-5 ( 1 full-time and the rest are part-time) ! This is a Consultative Sales Process - must be able to engage buyers , discuss their needs and tailor a solution to meet those needs .

Looking for someone who has sales management experience and has sold research, data or software services to buy side analysts.

Must have a high-level of computer literacy!

Requirements :
Preference given to someone with prior experience working for companies such as:
Thomson Reuters, Morningstar, Bloomberg., Standard and Poors.........and the like

Candidate must live in the Chicago area
Full understanding of Equity Research and Financial Services
Experience selling research, data - or - software services
Sales management experience
Computer Literacy
