As their Senior
Director of Tax
you will be challenged with:
The Senior Tax Director will spearhead the development and implementation of the tax department’s operating model which will support the company’s strategy and execute the global tax function in an efficient and cost effective manner.
Oversight and management of the Global consolidated financial reporting and separate legal entity reporting of income taxes that is delivered to attest auditors.
Oversight and management of the Global income tax, indirect tax and property tax compliance processes.
Providing tax related guidance for matters affecting the corporation, its employees, and shareholders.
Lead the development and administration of a tax planning strategy with the goal of reducing or deferring taxes.
Develop and implement the corporate tax strategy and direct efforts necessary to maximize financial statement tax benefits, increase after tax cash flows, and mitigate tax exposures.
Direct efforts to ensure that all US based income, property, indirect and transaction tax compliance are accurately prepared, timely filed, documented and supported. Manage, negotiate and resolve US based tax audits.
Develop and implement the corporate tax strategy and direct efforts necessary to maximize financial statement tax benefits, increase after tax cash flows, and mitigate tax exposures related to international tax issues.
Develop, implement, and monitor intercompany transfer pricing and profitability analyses. Oversee efforts of external consultants/local controllership to ensure that all international income, property, indirect and transaction tax compliance are accurately prepared, timely filed, documented and supported.
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
Master’s degree in Accounting, MBA or JD
Minimum of 15 years of diverse tax experience with extensive corporate experience managing global reporting of income taxes and working knowledge of international taxes
Big 4 public accounting experience
Strong knowledge of the current FASB interpretations and U.S. GAAP rules (e.g., ASC 740, ASC 450, ASC 805)
Proficient in Sarbanes Oxley 404 rules and their application to all tax functions
Ability to decipher complex tax law and determine its past, present, and future effects on the company.
Possess a broad knowledge of federal, state and international tax law.
Strong knowledge of global income, property, indirect and transaction compliance reporting and associated processes
