Treasury Management Sales Officer

A valued and long-term client is currently looking to hire a Treasury Management Sales Officer, who will work directly managing day-to-day activities in treasury functions to meet the financial obligations of the organization. Performs treasury activities related to cash flow, borrowings, debt, and capital management. Allocates cash balances, maintains investment records, and prepares expense and earnings forecasts. Ensures policies and procedures meet the organization's objectives, needs, and regulatory body requirements. Determines procurement of funds and monitors investments and collections.
Work closely with other bank representatives to identify new treasury management revenue sources and supporting the retention of existing clients. Responsible for meeting or exceeding assigned sales and retention goals. Sells treasury management services, provides company analysis, and technical support in the Treasury Management department. May participate in the supervision of Treasury Management Coordinators.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to the following:
Represents the organization in its relations with banks and financial institutions, primarily in day-to-day matters such as, resolves treasury management operational problems requiring identification of cause and implementation of corrective action with Treasury Management staff or other departments.
Attends individual and joint sales calls with clients and prospects to sell cash management products and services.
Collaborates with relationship managers to support winning new client relationships and deepen existing relationships in a cost-effective manner.
Identifies client needs, collects pertinent information and creates competitive cash management proposals and analysis pro formas, that align with bank profitability goals.
Cross-sell, refer and coordinate with business partners and third-party vendors such as Personal Bankers, Mortgage, Trust, and TIB Merchant Services.
Proactively manage risk and consider risk and control with each client and product discussed and sold.
Monitors ISO activity and credit requirement.
Provides administration for Letters of Credit (amount and expiration date).
Acts as a consultant to prospects, clients, and officers to develop and implement Treasury Management systems.
Prepares and negotiates complex Treasury Management service proposals.
Performs daily margining activity (sending margin calls and responding to margin calls)
Independently completes agreements and correspondence with clients.
Organizes and conducts training sessions for calling clients.
Participates in the development of marketing and training materials.
Develops clear and informative financial models and forecasting spreadsheets.
Develops and maintains an in-depth understanding of the treasury management products offered by the Bank and the processes for delivering these services.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field
Certified Treasury Professional/Certified Cash Manager or Master’s Degree, a plus but not required
5 plus years of relevant financial experience including treasury operations, capital markets, and business analytics
High degree of proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office suite products
Proven ability to lead and develop a team
Strong written and oral communication skills
Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
High level of responsiveness to internal and external clients.
Ability to present information in a confident and professional manner.
Ability to effectively negotiate with clients and prospects on new or existing deposit and/or cash management services.
