Job Description

Duties/Responsibilities:
Directs the planning, organization, scheduling and review of assigned engagements and supervises fieldwork. Delivers products to clients in a timely fashion within budget.
Participates in the engagement process and acts as technical resource for staff and clients
Reviews working papers of staff
Oversees preparation of audit reports, including financial statements and management letters.
Maintains communication with client throughout the year.
Presents audit reports to Management, Audit Committee and Board of Directors.
Participates in public speaking opportunities and opportunities to publish in professional and industry journals
Identifies additional areas of service to clients as part of our cross-selling initiative
Develops and maintains contacts with other professionals and business referral sources.
Participates in business and community service activities to help promote Firm image.
Basic Qualifications:
B.A. Degree in accounting; Masters degree desirable
CPA license required
12+ years current or recent & progressive experience in a combination of public accounting and financial institution industries.
Preferred Qualifications:
Must have an in-depth knowledge of accounting principles and auditing standards with the ability to apply them effectively to client situations
Good communication skills required
Must be able to travel at least 40%
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands.
