Job Description
Are you interested in Tax Law? Do enjoy working with and helping people? If you answered yes then the Internal Revenue Services's Taxpayer Advocate Service may just be the place for you. IRS is dedicated to advocating for taxpayers and helping them resolve their federal tax issues. As a Intake Advocate you'll be the first point of contact for taxpayers who call for assistance. You'll be responsible for answering inquiries and determining if their issues meet the criteria to warrent opening a case for resolution.
To Qualify at the Grade 5 level you must have a Bachelor's Degree or one year of job related experience. You will be placed in a Grade 5/6/7 career ladder.
